Request Solicitor Credit

Note: Your screen may look different than the screenshots in this guide.

Solicitor credit is assigned to Development Officers for an unexpected gift or a gift not documented in a plan. It is most often used for gifts less than $1,000.

This guide will review how to submit a ServiceNow ticket to request solicitor credit.

Steps to Take


  1. Navigate to the Advancement ServiceNow homepage and select Get Help & Order Services.

  1. In the Service Catalog, select Advancement Prospect Management > Prospect Management Services (Advancement) > Request Solicitor Credit.

  1. On the Submit a Ticket to Advancement page, enter the Subject and Description.

              In the Subject field, enter any relevant information about the gift, such as the gift name and amount.

              In the Description field, enter any additional relevant information, such as the actions taken to earn the gift credit.

  1. Under Category, select the link to download and complete the Solicitor Credit Upload form. Attach the completed form to your request.

  1. Review your ticket for accuracy and select Submit on the right side of the screen.

            You will see a confirmation message that your ticket was received. You can check the status of your ticket under My Tickets.
