Update a Plan or Opportunity

Note: Your screen may look different than the screenshots in this guide.

 

This guide will review how to submit a ServiceNow ticket to delete a plan/opportunity or make a completed plan/opportunity historical.

 

Note: A plan/opportunity should only be deleted if it is a duplicate or was created by mistake.

Steps to Take


 

  1. Navigate to the Advancement ServiceNow homepage and select Get Help & Order Services.

  1. In the Service Catalog, select Advancement Prospect Management > Prospect Management Services (Advancement) > Update Plan or Opportunity.

  1. On the Submit a Ticket to Advancement page, enter the Subject and Description.

In the Subject field, include the Plan Name and the constituent’s ESP Lookup ID.

In the Description field, enter any relevant information about why you would like to archive or delete the plan or opportunity.

  1. Review your ticket for accuracy and select Submit on the right side of the screen.

You will see a confirmation message that your ticket was received. You can check the status of your ticket under My Tickets.
