How to Delete a Resource Commitment Record in RCAM (UCSDPLAN Web App)

Connecting via UCSDPLAN Web Application

  1. Locate the record you intend to delete on Task 7.2A - for detailed instructions on this process, refer to KB0033725: How to Locate a Resource Commitment Record in RCAM (UCSDPLAN Web App).   
  2. Once you have located the Base Commitment for the record to be deleted, right click on the Resource Commitment ID (CTID) to generate the Action Menu
  3. Within the Action Menu, select Delete Commitment.

  4. A prompt window will appear – verify that all details are correctly populated with the values of the record you intend to delete.

  5. In the final prompt box, select Yes from ‘Selecting Yes will completely remove Commitment’
    NOTE: While the Delete Commitment action can only be successfully run from the Base Commitment record, this action will also delete any corresponding Transfer In record.

  6. In the bottom right corner of the Delete Commitment prompt window, click Yes, I want to delete commitment.

  7. A pop-up message will appear indicating that the delete was successful. Click OK to close this message.

  8. Use the Search function on Task 7.2 to verify that the CTID no longer appears on the form.

Navigate to Task 7.1 Activate Resource Commitment ID – SELECT SOURCE POV to verify that the CTID is now available to claim again.
