How to Push Salary and Benefits Data in Form 1.5 or Form 2.5

Steps to Take


Pushing Staff Salary and Benefits data (Task List 1) to Financial Statements (Task Lists 4 – 6) 

1. From the Oracle Planning and Budgeting Tool home page, click on Tasks 

 

2. Navigate to Task List 1 Review and Manage Staff Planning, expand the triangle to display Task 1.5 Review Staff Summary, click to load the form

 

3. In Form 1.5 Review Staff Summary, the Point-of-View will display the current budget planning year i.e. FY22, the Base Budget scenario and the Working version, retain all displayed selections  

 

4. Form 1.5 will display all Financial Units you have access to view and that you have previously Saved the information on Forms 1.2 or 1.4 

5. Scroll to the Financial Unit that you have completed staff salary planning on, right-click on the Financial Unit and on the Action Menu, select Push Labor to FS

 

6. WFP-PushStaffingData dialog box will display with the budget Year and Financial Unit already prepopulated

a. Optional – use the member selector to the right of the Financial Unit field to select a higher level of the hierarchy to push more than one Financial Unit at a time if you have access at the parent level i.e. selecting FU_500400B Human Resources will push all individual posting level Financial Units under that hierarchy at once

 

7. Click Launch

8. You will return to Form 1.5 where a confirmation message displays indicating the Push Staffing Data action was successful, click OK to close the message

 

9. You may now click Close to exit Form 1.5, the results of the Push Labor to FS action can be seen on Task Lists 4 – 6

 

 

Pushing Staff Salary and Benefits data (Task List 1) to Project/Task Planning (Task List 3) 

1. From the Oracle Planning and Budgeting Tool home page, click on Tasks 

 

2. Navigate to Task List 1 Review and Manage Staff Planning, expand the triangle to display Task 1.5 Review Staff Summary, click to load the form 

 

3. In Form 1.5 Review Staff Summary, the Point-of-View will display the current budget planning year i.e. FY22, the Base Budget scenario and the Working version, retain all current selections   

 

4. Form 1.5 will display all Financial Units you have access to view and that you have previously Saved the information on Forms 1.2 or 1.4 

5. Scroll to the Financial Unit that you have completed staff salary planning on, right-click on a Project.Task number you wish to push, an Action Menu displays, select Push to Projects

 

6. WFP-PushToProjectsStaffing dialog box displays with the budget Year and the Project/Task already prepopulated

a. Optional – use the member selector to the right of the Project field to select a higher level of the hierarchy to push more than one Project/Task at a time if you have access at the parent level
i.e. selecting PJ_FU_500400B Human Resources will push all individual project/tasks under that hierarchy at once

 

7. Click Launch

8. You will return to Form 1.5 where a confirmation message displays indicating the Push To Projects Staffing action was successful, click OK to close the message

 

9. Right-click again on the same Project.Task, an Action Menu displays, select Open Project Details

 

10. Form 3.3 Enter Project Expenses displays the salary and benefits amounts that were pushed from the prior step
