Overview of Annual Lump Sum Core Recurring Resource Allocations


Overview


The Core Recurring Budget is the recurring approved annualized plan of operations for the university. The Campus Budget Office (CBO) manages the distribution of Core Recurring Resources across campus. These resources are distributed as an annual lump sum allocation with units receiving their full approved Core Recurring Resources within the 1st quarter of the fiscal year. An exception to the lump sum distribution is the mid-year compensation program which is journaled in the November - December fiscal period timeframe.

Essential Information


During the 1st quarter (July-September) of each fiscal year, the Core Recurring Resource allocations will be distributed to campus ‘Financial Unit-Fund-Function-Project’ chart strings from the Budget Office. The table below provides a summary of the journals completed which culminate the total Core recurring transfers.
