Problem

Unfortunately, we are having issues with the Advanced Search catalog in Oracle showing the ability to order gases from Matheson Tri-Gas directly, which shouldn't be the case as our agreement with Matheson Tri-Gas is to have central receiving through STORE. 

Cause

The reason we are experiencing this issue is because Matheson Tri-Gas had submitted their part numbers to our Advanced Search catalog which is programmed in a way to provide you with the cheapest option as the default, which is ideal for most cases, but not how it works for gas cylinders and other STORE commodities.

Workaround

1. Follow Steps 1-6 on KB0035380 - How to Order Stock Gases from STORE.

2. Click into the item description or image. 

3. Under Buying Options, click on Add to Cart on the option that is flagged by Internal Partner and shows UC San Diego Store as the supplier.

NOTE: You will notice the price from UC San Diego Store is a bit higher than the direct options from Matheson Tri-Gas -- this is because our price includes a $25.24 markup per cylinder in order to fund our operations.
