Release 14.10.0 introduced the following new features, fixes, and updates to the campus instance of ServiceNow at UC San Diego and was implemented on September 18, 2024.
Asset & Configuration Management
- Created custom fields on the CMDB base table to support requirements of the NAC component of the SecureConnect project.
Case Management
- Added Time Worked tab to CSM cases in UCSD Agent Workspace
Email
- We updated our CSM Notifications, here's some notable changes:
- Added new notification fields on the group table.
- Added the ability for group managers to manage group notifications via the Group Management form.
- Updated the look of the notifications to a much clearer and cleaner look.
Human Resources
- Added a business rule that strips out 'ZZ_YY' from the attachment record. This is done so that the attachment shows up in the top-bar while viewing an HR Case.
- Added Assignment Group to the HR Case Creation Menu
Request Catalog
- Implemented Field Support autorouting for tasks in the Reassign Hardware form workflow.
- Made adjustments to Laptop Lending Program form and reactivated for Fall Quarter.
- Fixed alignment of the first name and last name variables in the "Configure AD Account" task.
- Updated the Duo Token Hardware Request form and workflow for Fall 2024.
Service Portal
- Fixed an issue where external users were not selectable in the Watch List field in tickets on the portal.
