ServiceNow 12.0.0 (Tokyo Upgrade) Release Notes
Release 12.0.0 will be a version upgrade for the campus instance of ServiceNow at UC San Diego and will be releasing Monday December 19th 2022.

Toykyo highlights are below- please note these are features available to us, but not necessarily launching immediately during the upgrade.

- With the new release will be an optional new user experience / layouts for agents. Non-agents (users who only use the support.ucsd.edu portal) will not see any changes to their experiences. We will turn it on in Q1 2023 and will have trainings / office hours on it.
- Workspaces are updated dashboards that offer more features, more customization, and more personalization Although user created Dashboards will continue to be available, we will be working with our partners to migrate existing ITS-SNOW created dashboards to Workspaces and to create new Workspaces for their agents.
- Sidebar Chat
- Replacing Connect Chat is Sidebar Chat. This will be available for all agents to better interact with each other.
