Release 13.18.0 introduced new features, fixes, and updates to the campus instance of ServiceNow at UC San Diego and was implemented on March, 27, 2024.
Platform
- Installed Access Analyzer to assist admins with troubleshooting security and access issues experienced by customers and agents.
- Updated the form Oracle System Roles to add all roles into 1 "All roles" variable.
- Removed ability for agents to create new offerings or services via list view.
- Added a restriction on 3 OFC scheduled jobs so that they don't run in subproduction.
- Emails sent to nmfhr@ucsd.edu will now create general HR cases assigned to the HR-IHRS-SOMTS assignment group.

Service Portal/Request Catalog
- Fixed a minor bug on the BIA Request form where it displayed the sys id in the short description instead of the display value.
- Removed WalkMe from the software list.
- Gave Laptop Lending Program admins the ability to cancel Laptop Lending Program Items.
- Fix POETAF Widget error defaulting financial unit to 00000 due to mistype of financial_2 instead of financial_unit_2. Also updated emails to post to activity stream.
- Added approvals to the EAH Forms.
- Fixed an issue where new users' department field were empty.
- Enhanced the form by assigning Deployment tasks directly to a Field Support team, based on their Building location on campus.
- Added automation for the Oracle Systems Roles Form. If a user requests access Financial Activity Data Hub Reporting, they will be automatically added to the correct AD Group upon approval. A catalog task will be created if there are any issues with the automation.
- Improved the Field Support Intake Form. Cases created using the Field Support Intake Form will now be assigned to the Field Support Assignment group that matches the submitter's location in the system, if present.
- Adding hotlinks to prefill the attached form for buisness, category, and subject.
