Release 16.3.0 introduced new features, fixes, and updates to the campus instance of ServiceNow at UC San Diego and was implemented on January 14, 2026.
Request Catalog
- Updated E-market in form with eMarket, updated short description for task and RITM for selected department.
- Transforming Cognos Migration Request Form from RITM to record producer.
- Made minor changes to the Email, Google, Mailing List form and workflow.
- Updated PPM recharge form catalog task's subject and description and prevent users with no manager or eid from submitting form.
- Added the following functionality to the SecureConnect Exception Request form:
- Health-specific warning information if the Health Sciences or Schools unit is selected. These requests should be handled through pulse.ucsd.edu.
- Added a unit review step for units that wish to have a review before the approvals are sent to the UISL or Unit Head.
- Added additional notifications on rejection and approval.
- Fixed a bug where the task customer was not assigning properly.
- Backend changes to the review flow, approval, and exception creation process that will allow for VPN exceptions to be filed from the same form int he future.
Platform
- Created a new HR Systems Case Subcategory - "People Systems Enhancements", and an inbound email rule that will be used to direct incoming requests to this group.
