CloudLabs: HorizonView Service
NOTICE: HORIZON VIEW SERVICE WAS RETIRED ON JUNE 18, 2021 AND IS NO LONGER ACCESSIBLE. INSTRUCTORS MAY REQUEST OTHER CLOUD LABS ARRANGEMENTS FOR THEIR COURSES BY SUBMITTING A COURSE INFORMATION (CINFO) FORM USING THE LINK BELOW.
CINFO's are to only be submitted by UCSD faculty teaching a course or by an appointed departmental representative on the faculty member's behalf. The faculty member or their representative needs to fill out a CINFO form for the course(s) they are teaching in order for student access to be provisioned to CloudLabs. Submit your CINFO form(s) here.
A UCSD VPN connection is *not* required to access CloudLabs resources.
If you are a student and are having issues...
- running software in CloudLabs, please submit a ticket or contact the ITS Service Desk at 858-246-4357 so that we can look into the issue.
- with CloudLabs on a Mac not responding or behaving as it should, please try a different browser. We recommend the latest version of Google Chrome.
- attempting to access CloudLabs via campus Wi-Fi, please submit a ticket or contact the ITS Service Desk at 858-246-4357 so that we can look into the issue. We recommend utilizing the on campus labs in the meantime. Open lab locations can be found here: https://lablookup.ucsd.edu/.
