Release 9.16.0 introduced new features, fixes, and updates to the campus instance of ServiceNow at UC San Diego and was implemented on June 30, 2021.
Service Portal
- We updated the Oracle & Concur Approver form including verbiage changes, a new question added & added an additional approver.
- We created a connection with API Manager in order to pull validated COA Data (which includes task numbers, award numbers, projects, funding sources, and expenditures). We then updated ITS Cloud Services forms to use the validated data.
- We fixed the typo in the Wire Request form notifications.
Organization Update
- We are pleased to announce that the Advancement organization has gone live in the system. The Advancement team have their own portal as well as the requisite assignment groups, services, and service offerings.
Performance Analytics/Reporting
- We added a new Display Value field on the case variable table. This allows the user to create insightful reports on case variables, since previously users needed to report based on SysIDs which were cryptic hexadecimal strings.
- A link to the Visual Task Boards interface has been added to the Self-Service application menu in the application navigator for agents.
- We developed a reportable connection between performance analytics widgets and dashboards which will allow us to easily identify where widgets are being used.
