Release 14.28.0 introduced the following new features, fixes, and updates to the campus instance of ServiceNow at UC San Diego and was implemented on February 19, 2025.
Configuration Management
- Converted configuration items with directly stored MAC addresses (aka "flat MAC addresses") to having associated network adapter CIs with these MAC addresses.
Email
- Modified the assignment group for emails sent to omcphrservices@ucsd.edu
- Added additional email address filters to the outgoing email blacklist to prevent email loops with other ticketing systems
Human Resources
- Standardized language of "Job Code" and "Job Title" across Customer Contact, Job, Position, and HR Profile records.
Major Incident
- Fixed a bug where major incidents could be closed without requiring close notes.
Request Catalog
- Made PID optional on Messaging Collab request form.
- Updated SBO form for AP Groups and IABO
- Business Office (BOTS) form changes:
- Hid 'Related To' field when 'About' = 'Other/Unknown' is selected
- Added additional Business Office Units
- Updated warning text for lost card requests
- Added additional questions and modified wording of questions on the Student Activity Hub developer access request form.
- Updates to TSS Form, multiple background check spreadsheet and additional services requested fields.
