Release 13.19.0 introduced the following new features, fixes, and updates to the campus instance of ServiceNow at UC San Diego and was implemented on April 3, 2024.
Service Portal & Employee Center
- Fixed an issue where a banner redirecting health users was missing. Updated the UCSDDepartmentUtils Script Include which is responsible for calculating user's VC Area, which controls who sees the banner.
- Added fix script in preparation for an overhaul of how statuses/operational statuses are used for Service Offerings.
HR Service Delivery
- Fixed an issue for HR cases where the description field was empty in the initial email to HR Agents.
- New Database View created for reporting on HR Cases and Tags. When you create a new report, in the table field, search for HR Case Tag to report on tags attached to HR cases.
- Added new HR Services.
Request Catalog and Forms
- Added a new group option on the OnBase Access Request Form.
- Updated verbiage on the Oracle and Concur Role Request.
- Added catalog task to the Oracle Elevated Roles Workflow.
- Updated Laptop Lending Form to prevent students form submitting multiple requests.
- Updated Form and workflow for the Tririga and Facilities Activity Hub Request Form.
- Changed the filter for the "Employee AD account to mirror" variable to allow PO Contractor AD accounts on the ITS Onboarding Form.
Case Management
- Removed hotlinks from Impact and Urgency fields on case forms.
- Added hotlink to Case Type field on case forms.
User Management
- Synced views with on Customer Contact table so that default view and case view are the same.
