Unsubscribe from a Mailing List


If you no longer wish to receive messages from a UCSD mailing list, follow these steps to unsubscribe.


Steps to Take


  1. Go to the mailing list's login screen by:
    • Finding the "Welcome" e-mail you received when you subscribed and click the link that ends with your e-mail address.
    • Entering the mailing list's login page URL.  In general, the login page URLs follow this format: https://mailman.ucsd.edu/mailman/options/ListName-l/YourEmailAddress (Replace ListName with the actual name of the list. The final character after ListName is a lowercase letter 'L' for 'list.')
  2. Locate the Unsubscribe section on your screen and click Unsubscribe.

Confirm Unsubscription

You'll receive an e-mail with "confirm" in the subject line. Follow the e-mail's instructions to complete the unsubscribe process.
