Use Wireless as a Guest at UC San Diego

Follow these steps to connect your wireless device to the guest networks at UC San Diego.

Steps to Take


If your home institution is eduroam-enabled

  1. Check with your home institution to find out your home institution is eduroam-enabled.
  2. Select the eduroam wireless network on campus.
  3. When prompted, enter your home institution username including the @institution portion, e.g. gbluefin@gla.ac.uk
  4. When prompted, enter your home institution password.

If you do not have eduroam access, use UCSD-GUEST

The UCSD-GUEST wireless network is for all UCSD visitors and guests, and is an unencrypted service requiring weekly user registration.

To connect as a guest, select the UCSD-GUEST wireless (Wi-Fi) network.
