Hotfix 13.13.1 fixed the following issue and was implemented on February 22, 2024.
Agent Interface
- Removed incorrect links to workspaces that are no longer in use.
Lucky release 13.13.0 introduced the following new features, fixes, and updates to the campus instance of ServiceNow at UC San Diego and was implemented on February 21, 2024.
Data
- Made First Name field on the user table optional to account for mononyms. Last name remains required
- Refactored and improved performance on the Tririga location data import scripts
Knowledge
- Changed default Valid-to Date for knowledge articles to one year + one day from current date if knowledge base validity is blank
Major Incident
- Jira task and time logging instructions have been added to the major incident form
- "Assigned to" is now labeled "Incident manager" and contains a link to incident manager responsibilities
Request Catalog
- Added log statements to the Assignment Group (Edit) workflow
- Modified verbiage on Messaging Collaboration form
- Updated the CINFO workflow to loop the API call if it failed
- When a customer or watcher replies to a catalog item with pending catalog tasks, the catalog tasks are changed to "Open", which will email the agents working the task
- ITS Onboarding Form Changes
- Student employee onboardings will now assign the request item to ITS-StudentStaffAdmin
- Minor language updates to the "Computer hardware needed" question and "Computer hardware requirements" task
- "Offer letter" added to the list of documents in the archival task
- Minor workflow changes to account for edge cases
Service Portal
- User profiles now have a standardized look in the Service Portal
