Join Skype for Business Meeting as a Guest


Overview


Guests without a UCSD login can follow these steps to participate in a UC San Diego Skype meeting through the Skype for Business Web App.  The Skype for Business Web App allows guests who do not have access to the full version of Skype for Business to participate in a meeting.

Steps to Take


  1.  Look for your invitation in your Outlook calendar or you email inbox.
  2. In your invitation, click on Join Skype Meeting (usually near the bottom).
  3. Enter a guest name and click Join the meeting.
  4. If you have not yet downloaded the Skype for Business Web App, you will be prompted to do so.
  5. Follow your web browser's instructions for downloading and installing the Skype for Business Web App plug-in.
