Issue accessing Facilities Information System (FIS) or Facilities Information Management (FIM).

FIS - Facilities Information System - the campus legacy system which combined several functions: Space information on Buildings, Departments, Space Classes, and Research Clusters - now deprecated to FIM/Tririga Space editing Floor plans with highlighted space information - now deprecated to FIM/Tririga .DWG CAD floor plans for download - remains in FIS Project Plan PDFs - remains in FIS Campus Maps - deprecated to https://maps.ucsd.edu/map/default.htm FIM - Facilities Information Management (Tririga) Space information on Buildings, Departments, Space Classes, People Work Locations, and Research and Admin Clusters Space editing Floor plans with highlighted space information

FIS - Cannot log in

• If UCSD employee, they might be attempting yo use SSO. FIS does not use SSO, and employees without access should request access here: https://facilities.ucsd.edu/Apply.htm

FIS - unable to update FIS 

• FIS (aka Facilities Information System, aka FacilitiesLink) is permanently closed for updates as of May 10th, 2019.
• The new system for space management is FIM (Facilities Information Management), located at https://ucsd.tririga.com. This si where space is edited and accurate highlighted floor plans are kept. CAD drawings for design professionals are available by using the Floor Plan Vault link to the right of the CAD Floor Plans section.

FIM - cannot log in

• FIM uses the Active Directory credentials for login (the one with the longer, more complex password)
• FIM does NOT use the custom login/password from FIS.

FIM - Can log in, but cannot access the system

• Access to FIM requires filling out a simple FIM Access Request form.  You can find the access request form here:  https://ucsdservicedesk.service-now.com/its?id=sc_cat_item&sys_id=e3908c91db157f0006037a131f96193d
• If user successfully logs in with their UCSD credentials and then gets this page, that means that they do not currently have an account setup in the system.
