OnBase 25.1 Login Instructions

Overview

The following article outlines instructions on how to log into PROD Web Client and PROD Unity Client.

Logging in to the PROD Web Client

The PROD client is the production environment of OnBase. This environment will be actively used by most users and should not be used for testing purposes.

  1. Open your Chrome browser and navigate to https://ucsd.hylandcloud.com/
    • If you are not logged in to UCSD Active Directory, you will be prompted to login using your Active Directory credentials.

  2. After you submit your credentials, or if you were already logged in, you will be presented with the Document Retrieval home screen for OnBase. You will be able to search for documents using the left-hand menu to choose the required document type. Alternatively, you can navigate to other screens (custom queries, document importing, workflows, etc.) by using the hamburger menu in the top left of the screen (shown with arrow below).

Logging in to the PROD Unity Client

The Unity Client is very similar in function to the Web Client version of OnBase. The Unity Client has additional User Interface (UI) features that may be preferable to some users, but most users who only use OnBase to retrieve and view documents will only need the Web Client. The PROD client is the production environment of OnBase. This environment will be actively used by most users and should not be used for testing purposes.

  1. Use this OneDrive Link to download the all in one installer for the Unity Client. Downloading the installer may take a couple minutes.
