How To Create a List View

Steps to Take


Create a Visualization

  1. In Agent View, via the All menu, type in 'Platform Analytics', and select "Analytics Center".
  2. On the main Analytics Center page, scroll down and click on "Create a new visualization"

Create and filter data in List View

  1. Click on "List - Simple" under "Other"

  2. By default this should display data for the "Task" table. In the configuration panel under "Data", select the Table field and modify it to "sn_customerservice_case".

  3. Click on "Edit fixed filter" to further customize the filter for the table.

Additional Configuration

The sidebar provides options for additional configuration regarding the display of the list view. The most useful ones will likely be the following:

Columns

  1.  Adjust the columns that are displayed by pressing the "+ Add" button next to Columns in the sidebar.

  2. Note how we can even dotwalk fields and access properties like the Assignment Group's manager.

  3.  You can also manually set the number of desired columns, by inputting a number in the field "Number of desired columns". This will display the first count of selected columns based on whats currently displayed.

Group By

  1.  You can group the display records by a field using the "Group By" option.

  2. This will provide a collapsible tab containing all records grouped by the group by selection.

Rows

  1.  You can also specify how many rows you want to display by default. Note: making this number too high can result in taking longer to load the visualization.

  2. You can additionally specify the presence of the "View all" button, headers, and other text in the visualization using this Configuration panel.
