How to use Breakdowns

You can use breakdowns to further refine and control the data you are inputting when using Indicators.

Steps to Take


Creating a Visualization

First, we can create a visualization that uses an indicator, and press "Add this source".

We now get data on the Cases created in the last 7 days.

Adding Breakdowns

To further refine this using breakdowns, press the three vertical dots, next to the data source we just added, in the Configuration menu, then press Edit.

Under breakdowns, we can what fields are available to refine this indicator.

Lets look at the cases created by one of my groups. Select "Assignment Group" for the Breakdown. "is (dynamic)" for the Operator, and "One of my groups" for the element.

There are many other options to choose from, and you can also select static Assignment Groups, use AND queries, etc, similar to regular filters.

 

One this is selected, press "Apply".

We now have a filtered visualization that is only showing cases created by one of my assignment groups.
