Download Child Entries of Multi-Stream Kaltura Videos

Overview

If you've recorded Kaltura Capture, Quick Capture, or specially-configured Zoom integration videos, you've seen multi-stream Kaltura videos. These videos allow users to control the arrangement of the streams within the media player. Users can view two streams side by side, picture-in-picture, or they can view a single stream at a time.

However, if you try to download your dual-stream entry as discussed in our article on downloading your Kaltura videos, it's not immediately apparent how to download anything but the "parent" (or "primary") video source of a multi-stream entry. (Most of the time, this is the screen capture plus audio.) But if you're the owner of the media, you can find and download the child stream in either MediaSpace or Canvas. This tutorial walks you through how.
