Release 14.1.0 introduced new features, fixes, and updates to the campus instance of ServiceNow at UC San Diego and was implemented on July 17th, 2024.
Service Portal/Request Catalog
- Enabled Save as Draft functionality for portal forms. To utilize this new functionality, please click the Save as Draft button in the portal. You can find your drafts under My Stuff in the portal. This functionality works on most of our forms except multi-page Order Guides. See KB0035208 for more information.
- Added a video on the Subledger Transaction Correction Request form.
- Updates to the Approval process for the Manage Individual User form.
- Allowed members of ITS-ServiceMgmtOffice to use the Service Offering (Add/Edit) form.
- Redirected /hr portal to /esc portal to add support for the more memorable /hr link.
- Removed billing requirement when bulk adding a user to groups on the Manage Individual User form.
Workspaces
- UCSD Agent Workspace now records time worked logs for customer service cases. This helps with reporting on case "touches."

- Added notifications for the Invoice Approving Manager on the ITS Purchase Form.
