Release 14.31.1 hotfixed the following issue on March 13, 2025.
Request Catalog
- Fixed a bug where users would be unable to submit a Oracle & Concur Roles Request that didn't require UCLearning training courses to be completed.
Release 14.31.0 introduced the following new features, fixes, and updates to the campus instance of ServiceNow at UC San Diego and was implemented on March 12, 2025.
Approvals
- Fixed a bug where approval comments weren't getting synced with Request Item records.
Dashboards & Reports
- Updated default columns on the task table views for HR agents to reflect the new General Inquiry HR Case structure.
- Adjusted reporting and view rules for metrics database views.
- Most inbound email actions that created HR cases have been adjusted to account for the new General Inquiry HR Case structure.
Data
- Added Eighth College and Summer Sessions as a choice on a User's College field for reporting and filtering purposes.
Human Resources
- For HR Services without a dedicated form or workflow, a new method of handling these as "General Inquiries" has been implemented.
- Different HR organizations will now have their own top level HR Service, such as General Inquiry - Central HR, General Inquiry - RRSS, etc. The agent experience for creating creating new HR cases has been modified to the following:

- Each General Inquiry Service will show new category and subcategory fields, corresponding to the COE and HR Service in question. HR Agents will now be able to quickly recategorize inquiries without needing to transfer cases by adjusting these fields:

- HR Cases can now be flagged as confidential by toggling the "Escalate to HR-Confidential group" flag. This will wipe the external watch list, and the case will only be viewable to the "Opened for" and the HR-Confidential team.

- HR Solution Proposed emails will send with attachments.
- Most inbound email actions that created HR cases have been adjusted to account for the new General Inquiry HR Case structure.

Request Catalog
- Removed Service Offering Field from Project Request form and added option to choose between OCMP or RRSS.
- Added gift card options to purchase good/service forms.
- Updated logic on the COA/POETAF variable set.
- Hid the individual forms from the Oracle and Concur role request order guide from the catalog.
- Made 'Phone' field optional on the TSS Order Guide.
