Release 14.40.0 introduced the following new features, fixes, and updates to the campus instance of ServiceNow at UC San Diego and was implemented on May 14, 2025.

Configuration Management

• SecureConnect compliance information is now being pulled into the CMDB from Jamf for Apple devices for downstream reporting.
• Reconfigured pxGrid connector with ISE to make data for SecureConnect Exceptions available via API.

Major Incident

• Due to the deprecation of AT&T's email-to-text service, major incident responders using an AT&T number will now be texted through Twilio instead of email to text.
• On-call group and meta tag information has been added to the Service Offering table for Major Incident response.

Platform

• Updated the Add to Update Set Utility to v8.7

Request Catalog

• The "Create a Jira Project" Form can now automatically automatically implement categories, templates and Confluence Spaces.
• Bug fixes and small tweaks to the ITS PO Request Form.
• Released DataLink Queries for Student Reporting Form.
