The ISA ASB can be accessed at https://instructionalscheduling.ucsd.edu/scheduler/annual-schedule-builder
This is where you can create your annual course offering plan for an academic year. You can copy previous academic years, or you can manually add and delete individual courses. Courses must be added to the ASB before they will be available in the Quarterly Schedule Builder (QSB) (see KB0033138).
Main functions on the ASB homepage
- Copy an entire annual schedule from a previous year to the current (blank) annual schedule you are working in (see KB0033135). (① above)
- Filter what information is appearing on the page by utilizing the filters at the top of the page (see KB0033161), including:
- Change the order the courses appear on the page by toggling the option at the top of the page (either ordered by course number or by instructor). (② above)
- One or more specific quarters (③ above)
- Course academic levels (graduate, lower division, upper division, etc.) (④ above)
- Custom course groups that you have created (see KB0033237) (⑤ above)
- Custom instructor groups that you have created (see KB0033222) (⑥ above)
- Specific course subject codes, course numbers, and words in course titles (⑦ above)
- Only courses that are currently on the annual schedule build versus all courses (⑧ above)
- Only courses that are active for the current year (based on the course approval) versus all courses (⑨ above)
- Make manual updates to the annual schedule build (see KB0033136), including:
- Adding a course (① below)
- Removing a course (② below, which appears after clicking on the highlighted menu button)
- Updating course details (③ below, which appears after clicking on the highlighted menu button)
