Steps to Take

For Mac

  1. Open Finder and navigate to the Applications folder. 
  2. In the Applications folder, right-click (ctrl + click) Thunderbird.app. 
  3. Select Move to Trash.
  4. In your user Library, right-click (ctrl + click) the Thunderbird folder. 
  5. Select Move to Trash.

For Windows

  1. Go to This PC > Local Disk (C:) > Program Files

  2.  Find your "Mozilla Thunderbird" folder
  3. Within your folder, find "Uninstall" and click

  4. Click "helper.exe" to uninstall Thunderbird
