Release 13.12.0 introduced the following new features, fixes, and updates to the campus instance of ServiceNow at UC San Diego and was implemented on February 14, 2023.
Service Portal & Employee Center
- Changed the Updated field in My Requests to display the date in local time instead of UTC time.
- Duplicated Out-of-box widget to fix icon margins in surveys.
- Duplicated Out-of-box My Team widget in order to add current user under direct reports in Employee Center.
Request Catalog & Items
- Fixed a bug that allows email replies on RITMs to trickle down to open SCTASKs.
- Changed workflow for Datahub form.
- Made the Contact ServiceNow Team accessible to agents only.
- Made minor changes to the UCPath Cognos Reports Access Request Form.
- Fixed an issue on Confluence forms where API calls were restricted from non-admins. Agents can now use the Confluence: Add User to Space form properly.
- Added AD group checks and automations and updated UC Learning course codes on the EAH Report Developer Access Request form.
- Onboarding Form Enhancements:
- Added new descriptive help text to the "Hiring manager's assignment group" field.
- Reorganized form sections related to physical hardware.
- Added a new question re: computer hardware needs, providing opt-out functionality, and added new options for "accessories only".
- Revamped the OFC permissions options and expanded the help text re: elevated OFC access requests.
- Added the new employee's name to the title of Jacob's tasks in the workflow.
Case Management
- Updated link when attaching the KBA to a case.
- Updated verbiage of the notification triggers the agent receives when a record assigned to them was commented on.
Asset Management
- Imported Take-Home assets to the Asset Table.
Tririga Integration
- Reorganized the "UC San Diego Locations" in Agent View. Updated Tririga integration to import the entire space data hierarchy, chained together from Space up to Campus.
