Release 14.14.0 introduced the following new features, fixes, and updates to the campus instance of ServiceNow at UC San Diego and was implemented on October 16, 2024.
Rich Text Descriptions in Customer Service Cases
- Changed the description field for CSM Cases to a rich text field. This will allow Agents to add some more details and highlights to the description field, including adding hyperlinks. HTML emails sent to ServiceNow will keep their formatting.
Case Management
- Adjusted the priority for cases filed under the service offering "Online Payment Issues (TritonPay).
Request Catalog
- Adjusted fields on the Student Equity Increase form.
- The Department selection fields will now display code information on the UCPath Cognos Reports Access Request form.
- Adjusted verbiage and chart of accounts string updates for the Cashiers Deposit form.
- Adjusted the category and subcategory when the Purchase Goods & Services (BOTS) form is submitted based on the selected options.
Service Portal
- References to ISPO have been replaced with International Services and Engagement Office (ISEO).
