Release 15.5.0 introduced the following new features, fixes, and updates to the campus instance of ServiceNow at UC San Diego and was implemented on September 24, 2025.
Configuration Management
- Updated the CMDB to Splunk endpoint to provide CI assignee username
Request Catalog
- Added a redirect to the BIA Request form for users requesting Report Developer Access.
- Fixed an issue where some HR Agents couldn't close RITMs
- Fixed an issue on the Order Computer Equipment form where form submissions with split Project Task percentages not adding up to 100 could be submitted
- Fixed bug on the ITS Offboarding form that inappropriately assigned tickets to the ITS-SNOW team
- Fixed an issue with the Reassign Hardware form where the workflow would get stuck on a failed email notification, before any tasks are generated
- Relaunched the Laptop Lending Form for Fall 2025.
- Added notifications for Classroom Reservation Request Items.
Service Portfolio
- Relabeled Service Offering field "SMT" to "Service Offering SMT" for clarity in reporting.
