The following article shows how to move your Lastpass data to your new 1Password account. These instructions were derived from the 1Password article: Move your data from LastPass to 1Password in the desktop app. Additions and modifications were made to suit existing UC San Diego customers of LastPass.
 
Before you start: Download and install the 1Password desktop app: Mac, Windows, or Linux. Also, ensure that multi-factor authentication has been disabled for your LastPass account. Then sign in and follow the instructions below to import your LastPass data.
Once you have the 1Password desktop app, follow these steps based on your computer operating system:

When you import your data, your item types will change:

| Custom item | Secure Note | 
| File or one-time password attached to an item | Automatically attached to the same item.* | 
| Bank Account, Credit Cards, and others | Equivalent item type | 
* If you use LastPass Authenticator, one-time passwords saved in it won't be imported, but you can manually add them to 1Password after you've imported your other data.
