Release 15.9.0 introduced the following fix to the campus instance of ServiceNow at UC San Diego and was implemented on October 22, 2025.
HR Service Delivery
- Updated the notifications of HR Case so that there are no duplicate emails on HR Case closure.
- Released campaign for 2026 Open Enrollment on ESC portal. The campaign will begin on 10/27.
- Updated First Reply fields for older HR Cases.
Request Catalog
- Made updates to the Onboarding Form:
- Decoupled position funding process from onboarding
- Integrated Onboarding with new Position Funding Review form by way of a RITM reference
- Consolidated various HR tasks
- Consolidated various Admin tasks
- Various adjustments to the primary workflow
- Removed the automated email containing Duo and password reset instructions
- Launched a new Position Funding Review form, decoupling this from the Onboarding process.
- Made minor wording adjustments to the Order Computer Equipment form.
- Updated Purchase Goods form to stop clearing request type when using a 'draft.'
CMDB
- Updated the SG-SCCM integration to pull a true/false flag signifying if the device has EDR software (Trellix) installed.
- Create a new ACL role for the ITS-CMDB-Updates group.
Case Management
- Created a new user for ecemsadvising@ucsd.edu.
- Fixed bug with dark mode in ServiceNow hiding email text from Outlook dark mode.
