Release 16.40.0 introduced the following new features, fixes, and updates to the campus instance of ServiceNow at UC San Diego and was implemented on September 30, 2026.

Request Catalog

• Migrated the UCPath Access Management Form workflow to Flow Designer.
• Added a hiring manager field to the PO contractor extension form and updated the flow to write it to the relevant request-record fields.
• Updated the PO contractor offboarding flow to write the hiring manager into the RITM Customer field, restored the org chart update task, and added a reminder for managers to verify their org charts.
• Updated the wording on the Oracle PPM Award Temporary Extension Request form.
• Closed the Laptop Lending Request form for the fall quarter by preventing submissions.

Service Portal

• Fixed the Service Offering Details popup on Submit a Ticket forms so formatted summaries and links display correctly.
