How to Create Favorites for Bookmarks in UCPath


Overview


The Improve Navigation (Fluid) project aims to improve the transactor experience by deploying an improved navigation user interface (UI) called Fluid, and begin to move UCPath to a more intuitive, modernized solution. The new Fluid interface will no longer display bookmarks in UCPath Online. To help with this transition, we recommend that users set up links using the Favorites function.

Critical Concepts


For employees: You can continue to bookmark Employee Actions pages.

For transactors: You can continue to bookmark Employee Actions pages. Bookmarks are going away for transactional pages. Move all your Bookmarks to Favorites before October 14, 2022.

 

Steps to Take


  1. Log in to UCPath Online.
  2. Navigate to your Bookmarks page. Select the bookmark you want to Favorite.

  3.  Once you are on the page you want to Favorite, click the New Window link and the page will open up on a new tab in Native PeopleSoft.
  4.  In Native PeopleSoft, click the Add to Favorites link.
  5.  A pop up will appear prompting you to add a description. It will default to the name of the page, you can update or click OK.
  6.  Click the Favorites menu dropdown to see all the Favorites you have created.

 

Other Considerations


There are some Bookmarks that cannot be added to Favorites using the steps above, for example: Admin Review Absence Balance. For those Bookmarks, you will need to navigate to the Page in Native PeopleSoft to be able to add it to Favorites.

When you click on the Bookmark for Admin Review Absence Balance, click the New Window link and the page will open up on a new tab in Native PeopleSoft.

If you click Add to Favorites, you will get an error message:

Once you navigate to Admin Review Absence Balance (Main Menu > UC Customizations > UC Extensions > Admin Review Absence Balance) through Native PeopleSoft you will be able to add to Favorites:
