University of California, San Diego bills tuition and registration fees every quarter. However, students may also incur monthly charges for housing and other services. It is your responsibility to ensure all payments are made by the deadline to avoid late penalties or cancellation of enrollment.

 

Tuition and Registration Fees

Payment is due based on the Enrollment and Registration Calendar deadline. This deadline applies even if you enroll late, are on a waitlist, or have been reinstated.

• Triton Registration Installment Plan (TRIP): If you are enrolled in TRIP, you must follow the monthly billing due dates provided in your installment plan.

 

Housing and Rent Charges

• Graduate Housing: Rent is due on the first day of each month.
• Undergraduate Housing: Billing follows a separate schedule. You can view current rates and timelines on the Housing Rates and Services website.

Miscellaneous Charges

While the main tuition is quarterly, you will have monthly due dates for any miscellaneous charges incurred. These may include:

• Triton Registration Installment Plan (TRIP) fees
• Bookstore purchases
• Library or copier services
• Student Health Services
