UCSD Faculty and Staff

Faculty and Staff automatically provisioned with access to Kuali IRB.  They can log in with either their Active Directory or Business Systems credentials at either https://ucsd.kuali.co/ or https://ucsd.kuali.co/protocols/. If you are off-campus right now and get an error, try logging in while on the VPN.

UCSD Students

Non-employee students will need to obtain sponsorship through the department with whom they are conducting research.  Their Principal Investigator, Faculty Advisor or a department staff member can submit a request to their department to establish a “Sponsored Affiliates account”.

Non-UCSD Researchers & Research team members

---

Non-employee researchers and their team members required to submit to the UCSD IRB’s will need to obtain sponsorship through a department with whom they are collaborating on their research studies.  A department staff member that the individual works with can submit a request to their department to establish a “Sponsored Affiliates account”.

When submitting a request to the Kuali IRB team, please make sure to provide:

• Affiliation with the university (i.e., student, volunteer, PO contractor, non-UCSD researcher)
• First and Last Name
• Email address for contact
• UCSD email address (if available)
• Justification for access request
