For RFPs with an imposed limited submission, the Office of Research Affairs has a division which reviews and vets submissions and provides approvals for those that may move forward.

Please send an inquiry to Limited Submissions at limitedsub@ucsd.edu They will dictate whether or not the PI can move forward and apply.
