How to View Invoice, PO, and Concur Commitments in the OFC Costs Module


Overview


This article helps users identify each type of Project Commitment, provides information on how each type is created and lifted, and also provides guidance on troubleshooting any Commitment questions or issues.

Navigate to Committed Costs

  1. On the OFC homepage, click Projects and Awards then Costs.
  2. In the Costs Overview page, at the right, click the Task icon.
  3. In Review and Adjust, click Manage Committed Costs.


Search for Committed Costs on a Project

  1. In Manage Committed Costs, click Advanced.
  2. In the Search dialog box, in Project Number, enter the Project Number.
    1. In Task Number, you may also specify a Task.
  3. Click Search


Manage the Columns

  1. In the Search Results, you can manage the displayed columns, click View, then Columns.
  2. In the slide out menu, scroll to the bottom.
  3. Click Manage Columns
  4. In Hidden Columns, select the column you would like to display and then click the single right arrow.
  5. We recommend displaying these columns:
    1. Document: shows the type of Commitment you're reviewing, e.g. a Purchase Order.
    2. Source Application Commitment Number: shows the Transaction Number, e.g. a PO number.
    3. Expenditure Type: shows how the transaction was categorized.
    4. Supplier Name: shows the Supplier with whom the transaction is associated.
    5. Requester: shows the UC San Diego point of contact on the transaction.
  6. Click OK
  7. This process only needs to be performed once, as the system will remember the columns you select.
