Overview
When you are granted access to a Digital Team in Tremendous, you will need to customize your campaign template. Your Campaign template is what determines the format and language of the notification the gift card recipient sees when receiving a gift card. As well as the types of gift cards available to them.
Along with this KBA, please feel free to also watch the attached video demonstration on how to customize your campaign template.
Critical Concepts
The purpose of a campaign template is twofold:
- To define the catalog of reward options available to your recipients
- To set the visual presentation of the reward
You have the option to add an image to your template that would be included with the email that gets sent to recipients (this could be the UCSD logo or something else that might fit your Digital Team better).
Steps to Take
- Login to Tremendous using your SSO.
- Select your campaign template
- If you are a part of multiple teams, you might need to select the correct team from the dropdown under the Tremendous logo.

- On the template, select Actions.
- You will be given the options to edit the rewards, webpage, and email.
- Editing the webpage will allow you customize the webpage that the recipient is routed to when redeeming their gift card. You can add an image, edit the text to include your study name/ department name. Be sure to Edit where it says “EDIT UCSD (Project name here)."
- Editing the products will give you the options to customize which gift cards are made available to the recipient (Amazon, Target, Visa, etc.)
- Editing the email will customize the email sent to the recipient when they receive the gift card.
- NOTE: The blue text found in between the {{}} will be autogenerated to include the recipients name and dollar amount received, there is no need to change this.

- Starting with the Webpage, select Edit Webpage.
- You can edit the headline and message. Please be sure to update the portion of the headline that reads (Project Name Here) to your study's name or something that will be easily identifiable by your recipients so they understand it is coming from your clinical trial.

-
- Feel free to leave the rest of the message as is, or customize it more. The recipient name and amount will be entered for every order sent, so these fields will be automatically updated for each card sent:

- You will then want to complete the same steps to edit the email sent to the recipient.
- We recommend previewing your webpage as well to ensure it looks as you would like it to. You can do so by selection Actions and then Preview webpage.

- Payment Services has already set up the available gift cards so there is no need to edit the types of digital gift cards that you are offering unless your IRB states you can only send one specific type of card such as an Amazon card or Visa card.
- To do so, select Actions and then Edit Products.

- You can then uncheck any you do not want available and then select Done to save your options.
