Overview
UC San Diego offers three secure international payment options through TritonPay. Using these approved providers ensures your payment is correctly identified and applied to your account.
Note: UC San Diego does not disclose direct bank wire account information. All wires must be initiated through the providers listed below.
Approved International Providers
Students are encouraged to compare rates between these providers for the best option:
- TransferMate: View rates directly in TritonPay. Live chat support is available under the “Help” tab.
- Flywire: Redirects to the Flywire website to select from several bank wire options.
- Convera: Redirects to the Convera website to select from several bank wire options.
How to Initiate a Payment
- Log in to TritonPay.
- Select Make a Payment.
- Enter the amount you wish to pay and click Checkout.
- Select International Payment as your payment method.
- Select the Country you are paying from and choose one of the three providers.
- Follow the specific instructions provided by the processor to complete the wire with your bank.
Important Timelines and Statuses
- Pending Status: Your payment will show as "Pending" in TritonPay until funds are received.
- Processing Time: International payments typically take 5–7 business days to reach the University.
- 48-Hour Deadline: You must complete the transaction with your bank within 48 hours of booking it in TritonPay, or it may be cancelled.
- Void Status: Uncompleted transactions will show as "Void" after 12 days.
