Canceling a Pending International Payment


Overview


If you have a "Pending" payment in TritonPay and wish to cancel it, your next steps depend on whether you have already sent money from your bank.

 

Steps to Take


Scenario 1: You HAVE NOT sent money from your bank

If you only "booked" the payment in TritonPay but did not follow through with a wire transfer at your bank:

 

Scenario 2: You HAVE already initiated the transfer at your bank

If you have already instructed your bank to send the funds:

 

Important Note


UC San Diego cannot manually cancel a wire transfer once it has been initiated through a third-party provider. You must resolve the cancellation with the provider (Convera, Flywire, or TransferMate) first.
