There are two ways to pay your student account balance using a 529 Savings Plan: electronically or by mail. If your 529 College Savings Plan is not available on TritonPay, please choose one of the two available options below.
UC San Diego partners with Flywire and Ascensus to accept electronic 529 payments.
Note on Processing: Once the funds are received, the UC San Diego Central Cashier's team will manually apply the payment to your account. Please allow 3–5 business days for the payment to appear in TritonPay.
If your 529 plan does not support electronic transfers, you will need to request that your provider mail a physical check.

If your payment has not appeared on your account after 10 business days, please submit a ticket to the Central Cashier's team with your 529 payment confirmation details.
