This article assists with creating a US Bank Access Online Profile for your UC San Diego Procurement Card. An Access Online profile can be used to view Procurement Card transaction information in real-time, view card profile information, open fraud or transaction dispute cases (within 60 days of the transaction date), and sign up for Real-Time Fraud Alerts (delivered to your email or phone).
1. Navigate to the US Bank Access Online homepage (access.usbank.com) and click "Register Online".
2. In the Organization Short Name field, enter UCSD. In the Account Number field, enter your 16-digit card number. Then select your card's expiration date from the Month and Year dropdowns, and click "Send a Code". An email will be sent to the email address on your card profile (the email address that was provided on the Cardholder Agreement attached to your new card request) with a One-Time Passcode.
3. Enter the One-Time Passcode you received via email in the One-Time Passcode field and click "Continue". The email address on your card profile to which this passcode was sent can be viewed near the top of the screen. The emailed One-Time Passcode expires after 15 minutes. If you do not complete this step in 15 minutes, you may request another code by clicking "Send me another code".
4. Next you will be taken to a Licensing Agreement page, which describes US Bank's Access Online Terms of Use. Scroll all the way to the bottom after reading through these Terms and Conditions and click "Agree".
5. Complete the Online Registration by creating a User ID and password (this will be used to log-in to US Bank Access Online) and selecting and answering the Authentication questions. These questions will be used in the event you forget your password. You will also provide your Contact Information on this page. PLEASE NOTE: The billing address on your Procurement Card profile is: 9500 Gilman Dr, MC ____, La Jolla CA 92093 (the mail code provided on your cardholder agreement), and the email address and phone number on your Procurement Card profile are what was provided on your Cardholder Agreement as well.
1. Upon submission of your profile information, you will see a pop-up menu with information regarding Cardholder onboarding in Access Online. You can view a brief video from US Bank regarding Cardholder Basics, but most importantly it will show you how to set up Real-Time Fraud Alerts for your Procurement Card. To do this, you will:
2. On the Account Alerts page you will need to check the box agreeing to the Terms & Conditions regarding mobile phone text messaging, and you will provide the email address and/or mobile number to which you would like to receive Real-Time Fraud Alerts. Then check the box or boxes next to "Email" and "Text" to determine how you would like to be notified by US Bank when suspicious activity is detected. Then click "Save" in the lower-right hand corner to confirm your selections.
