Troubleshooting Campus Id Cards Not Allowing You to Access Your Dining Plan Funds
Reasons why your card may not be working to access your Dining Plan funds:
- Chip on card is damaged due to bending, cracking, or exposure to water/heat.
- Magstripe is worn/scratched or has been demagnetized due to being exposed to magnets or use of “phone wallets” on phones with a magnet
- Card has been marked as lost/stolen/suspended.
Troubleshooting Steps:
- Go to the UC San Diego Campus Card office to repair or replace your card.
- There may be a $25 fee to replace your card.
