Learn how to request UC San Diego's signature on education expense forms required by your home country's government (for example, the Canadian TL11A).
How to Submit a Request
If your home country requires a signed form to verify your educational expenses, follow these steps:
- Prepare your forms: Download the required tax or expense forms from your government's website.
- Canadian Students: Please include the TL11A certificate.
- Email your request: Send an email to Verificationhelp@AD.ucsd.edu.
- Attach documents: Include your student ID number and attach the forms you need signed.
Processing Time
The Office of the Registrar handles these requests. Please allow three (3) business days for a response.
Important Information About US Tax Forms (1098-T)
Please note that the 1098-T form issued by UC San Diego is for United States tax purposes only.
- It is used to determine eligibility for US Education Tax Credits.
- UC San Diego cannot provide individual income tax advice.
