Education Expense Verification for International Students

Learn how to request UC San Diego's signature on education expense forms required by your home country's government (for example, the Canadian TL11A).

How to Submit a Request


If your home country requires a signed form to verify your educational expenses, follow these steps:

  1. Prepare your forms: Download the required tax or expense forms from your government's website.

    • Canadian Students: Please include the TL11A certificate.
  2. Email your request: Send an email to Verificationhelp@AD.ucsd.edu.
  3. Attach documents: Include your student ID number and attach the forms you need signed.

Processing Time

The Office of the Registrar handles these requests. Please allow three (3) business days for a response.
