Review this KBA for assistance with logging into Tab Services to access your 1098-T online.
 

What to do if you are having trouble logging into Tab Services


If you are unable to access your 1098-T electronically via the Tab Services Portal, please try resetting your password.

If you are a returning student who has been able to access your 1098-T via the Tab Services Portal before, please follow the instructions below:  

  1. Visit www.tsc1098t.com
  2. Click on "Forgot Password?" 
  3. For Site ID, enter 11563
  4. For Username, enter your nine-digit PID number.
    • Include the "A" (i.e., A12345678).

If this is your first time visiting the Tab Services Portal, please log in using the instructions below:

  1. Visit www.tsc1098t.com
  2. For Site ID, enter 11563
  3. For Username, enter your nine-digit PID number.
    • Include the "A" (i.e., A12345678).
  4. For Password, enter the last four digits of your Social Security Number (SSN).
    • If you are a student without a SSN or have otherwise not provided your SSN to UC San Diego, enter "0000" as the password. This will initiate a password reset and you will be emailed instructions regarding how to reset your password. 

If you try resetting your password and are still unable to login, please contact the 1098-T Support Center at (888) 220-2540.
