The Campus Purchases/Other category on your TritonPay overview page acts as a "catch-all" for various university charges. This category includes on-campus retail purchases as well as miscellaneous fees that are not related to tuition, registration, housing, or dining.

Common charges found in this category include:

• Retail Purchases: UC San Diego Bookstore items charged to your student account.
• Academic Fees: Course materials (RedShelf), lab fees, and Library fines.
• Campus Services: Parking permits/citations and Wēpa printing charges.
• Healthcare: Student Health Services (SHS) charges.

These balances may be offset by anticipated financial aid or paid when you receive your next monthly billing statement.

 

Viewing Charge Details

To identify exactly what a charge represents, visit the Activity Details tab in TritonPay. There you can view:

• Transaction Date: When the charge was applied to your account.
• Charge Type: The specific department or service (e.g., "Parking" or "Bookstore").
• Amount: The specific total for that individual line item.
