The Housing Installment Payment Plan (HIPP) allows eligible students to pay for their session's housing and dining charges in three monthly installments, rather than one large sum payment at the beginning of the session during the academic year. 

Note: Pepper Canyon West Summer Housing and Summer Session housing and dining costs are not eligible, as they are already billed monthly.

Key Rules and Eligibility

• HIPP Availability: HIPP is available for the Fall, Winter, and Spring sessions.
• Manual Enrollment: You must re-enroll in HIPP every session. HIPP enrollment is not automatic and does not auto-renew.
• What HIPP Covers: Undergraduate housing and dining fees as well as misc. housing and dining fees, including, but not limited to, cancellation fees, damage charges, key replacement fees, lock changes, etc.
  • Note: Tuition, registration, parking, library, bookstore, course material charges, or other university fees are not eligible for HIPP and must be paid separately.
• HIPP Eligibility: You must be enrolled in classes, have no financial holds, and pay for any past-due housing or dining balance before enrolling in HIPP.

Enrollment Fees and Deadlines

For Fall, Winter, and Spring Sessions, HIPP will split your housing and dining charges into three separate, monthly installments.

We offer two enrollment fee options each session:

• Early Enrollment Fee - $40
  • Enroll by the first billing due date for auxiliary charges.
• Standard Enrollment Fee - $65
  • Applies if you enroll after the first auxiliary due date of the session.

Enrolling early saves you money on your enrollment fee costs and provides you more time to manage your budget.

How to Enroll in HIPP

1. Log in to TritonPay.
2. Review your account overview and confirm there is no past-due balance.
3. Select Payment Plan from the left navigation.
4. Choose View Payment Plan Options, then select Housing Installment Payment Plan (HIPP).
5. Pay the non-refundable enrollment fee and your first installment to activate the plan.

Note: If you do not see this payment plan as an option, confirm you are enrolled in classes, have no financial holds or past-due balance, and your housing and dining fees have been charged to your account for the session. If all of these conditions are not met, then you will not see the option to enroll.
